ECOWAS Youth Voices for Change Summit 2024

Renel Ghana Foundation took part in the 2024 Youth Voices for Change Summit, a transformative two-day event that convened 75 young leaders from across West Africa. The summit focused on the critical theme of youth digital innovation as a driver for inclusivity, regional growth, and stability.

The event provided a platform for young people to amplify their voices and engage meaningfully in addressing issues of exclusion and inequality. Through dynamic discussions, workshops, and collaborative activities, participants explored innovative ways to influence decision-making processes, particularly in contexts where civic space and human rights are under threat.

The summit emphasized the importance of empowering youth to negotiate and collaborate with powerholders to promote inclusive governance, social cohesion, and sustainable peace. By fostering dialogue and equipping participants with tools to drive positive change, the event underscored the central role of youth in shaping a more inclusive and equitable future for the West African region.
