56th UN Human Rights Council Forum in Geneva, Switzerland

Renel Ghana Foundation proudly participated in the 56th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UN HRC) in Geneva, Switzerland, where our Programs Manager delivered an impactful oral statement on Climate Change on behalf of Terre des Hommes International Federation (TDHIF).

In addition to this, the Programs Manager served as a panelist, contributing to discussions on the importance of inclusive data collection practices for all girls and young women highlighting Girls’ and Young Women’s Leadership, Participation, and Decision-Making. The panel emphasized the need for robust, gender-responsive data to address barriers to leadership and ensure the inclusion of marginalized voices in decision-making processes at all levels. This participation underscores Renel Ghana Foundation’s commitment to advocating for gender equity, amplifying the voices of girls and young women, and advancing their leadership and participation in shaping global policies.
