GoFundMe  to keep Ghanaian Girls in School

Renel Ghana Foundation has set up the GoFundMe project to support the Generation Equality Project. We believe Education is a transformative tool to bridge the inequality gap across the globe. Tracking the enrollment, retention and completion rates of males and females in Ghana, we found out that, although the enrollment rates are increasing for females, the retention and completion rates are still relatively low. This is due to barriers such as such as early marriage, pregnancy, poverty, cultural beliefs, sexual harassment, and lack of access to school infrastructure and transportation. 

By guaranteeing Ghanaian girls’ access to education through supporting their educational needs, we want to keep Ghanaian girls in school by raising an amount of $30,000.
