Successful Completion of Survivor-Centered Care Training – Ada East
Under the Gender Rights and Empowerment Project (GREP), Renel Ghana Foundation successfully completed a Survivor‑Centered Care training in the Ada East District. Implemented in partnership with Songtaba and supported by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and Girls, the training strengthened local protection mechanisms by equipping service providers with practical tools and survivor‑centred approaches.

Purpose
- Build confidence and skills for frontline actors to deliver compassionate, survivor‑centred care.
- Enhance survivor protection through trauma‑informed and coordinated responses.
- Improve referral pathways across health, justice, and social welfare services.
- Strengthen collaboration among district‑level institutions to ensure timely and effective support.


Participants and roles
- District service providers: social welfare officers, DOVVSU officers, health clinicians, school counsellors, and community protection volunteers.
- Facilitators: Renel Ghana Foundation trainers and Songtaba technical advisors.
- Support: UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and Girls provided funding and technical backing.
