Type 1 Diabetes Awareness and Screening – Walewale Health Center

Renel Ghana Foundation, with funding support from Panorama Global through the T1D Community Fund, conducted a Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) screening and sensitisation exercise at Walewale Health Center. A total of 45 children were screened and caregivers received education on the signs, symptoms and importance of early detection. No abnormal cases were recorded, and the activity reinforced the need for continued awareness and preventive education in underserved areas.
