Gender Rights and Empowerment Project (G‑REP)
In partnership with Songtaba and with support from the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women, we launched the Gender Rights and Empowerment Project (G‑REP) across selected districts in Northern and Coastal Ghana.
The project focuses on supporting women and girls who are survivors of:
- Intimate partner violence
- Witchcraft accusations
- Economic exclusion
- Social protection barriers
G‑REP provides multisectoral services, community sensitisation, economic empowerment opportunities, and policy advocacy. A major highlight of the project is the establishment of a fully operational One‑Stop Support Centre where survivors can access comprehensive assistance.
Together, we are building a Ghana where women and girls live free from violence, discrimination, and fear.
