AgriEmpower Project Showcased at the 2025 Agribusiness Dealroom
Renel Ghana Foundation proudly participated in the 2025 Agribusiness Dealroom, an exclusive investment forum hosted by AGRA and the Kosmos Innovation Center. The event brought together over 200 key players in the agribusiness ecosystem — from investors and policymakers to development partners and academic institutions.
Our team presented the AgriEmpower Project, a groundbreaking initiative supporting over 125 female farmers in the North East Region, particularly in the West Mamprusi Municipality. The project addresses long‑standing barriers faced by women in agriculture, including:
- Limited access to finance
- Low adoption of AgriTech
- Inadequate market access
- Low productivity due to outdated farming methods
Through innovative tools like the Renel Cashcrop App, tailored financial solutions, and improved market linkages, the project is helping women scale their agribusiness ventures sustainably.
The response from investors was overwhelmingly positive, and we are currently in discussions with AGRA and other partners to expand the project’s reach.
We believe that investing in women farmers is essential to achieving inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Africa.
