Africa Union Day
On Africa Union Day, the Renel Ghana Foundation, in collaboration with its partner from the United States of America, marked the occasion with a meaningful initiative at the Kasalgu AME Zion School in Tamale, situated in the Northern region of Ghana. Recognizing the importance of environmental sustainability and education, the foundation and its American counterpart organized a tree-planting event on the school compound. As part of their commitment to fostering positive change, mango trees were planted, symbolizing growth, nourishment, and the enduring bond between nations. This endeavor not only commemorated Africa Union Day but also contributed to the school’s ecosystem, providing shade, fruit, and a valuable educational opportunity for the students to learn about environmental stewardship and the significance of collective action in building a brighter future for Africa
