Renel Ghana Foundation Boosts Healthcare Access with NHIS Renewals in Underserved Regions

In the remote and underserved regions of our country, access to quality healthcare and education has long been a critical challenge. However, the dedicated team at Renel Ghana Foundation has been working tirelessly to transform the lives of the people in these marginalized communities.

Recognizing the vital importance of universal healthcare coverage and well-being for all, RFG registered and renewed over two thousand national health insurance scheme in the Jaman North District in Adinkrakrom, Seketia,Nsonsormia and Boko Communities. RGF ambitious mission to register thousands of individuals on the national health insurance scheme continued for three years. Over the course of three years, their tireless efforts resulted in a significant increase in the number of insured families, ensuring that they could access essential medical services without the burden of prohibitive out-of-pocket costs.

Through a well-structured outreach program, the volunteers went door-to-door, educating families on the benefits of the insurance scheme and guiding them through the registration process. This initiative not only provided a safety net for the vulnerable but also empowered the community to take charge of their own health and well-being.

The impact RGFs work has been truly transformative. Families who once struggled to access essential healthcare services now have the security and peace of mind that comes with comprehensive insurance coverage.
